Bostyn Lou Update

As Bostyn is reaching her third month of life, she continues to learn new things everyday. She still does not care for "tummy time," and it can be a struggle to get her to do it. But she is lifting her head much more, and learning to reach out to touch her toys. She is slowly learning that she can suck her thumb, but struggles to coordinate her movements to make this happen. She can be very stubborn, and makes it known that she does not want your help, which is a learning experience for both Matt and I. We had a very exciting moment the other day (Sunday), when Bostyn suprised us with her first giggles and laughter as Matt entertained her. Their truly is nothing like a childs laugh. I melted as I sat and listened to her. Besides her new laugh, it's her smile that captures us, every minute of the day. We can't get enough of it.

Daddy Daycare

As of March 21, I was back at work part-time (starting full-time next week), with Matt staying at home. Bostyn has been enjoying "daddy time," very much. I can't say I like being away from Baby Bostyn, but we also know how blessed we are, that one of us gets to stay home. It has been quite the transition for both of us, as I was home with Bostyn everyday during my maternity leave, and Matt was working the majority of the time. Matt is learning the 'ins and outs' of being a "stay at home dad," which includes knowing that when the baby naps....daddy naps. I had to snap these pictures when I came home the other day. It looks as if Ranger is learning the ways too. LOL
