Monday was the day that we had been anticipating for the last 9 months. On Wednesday, September 1, we had our first ultrasound, which was so exciting. Getting to see our little peanut (who is weighing in at 14 oz) was quite the experience. She cooperated very well with Ultrasound tech, and was quite active. She even turned her head toward us to look at us straight on. :)Auntie Jodi was also with us. Well all, we figured it was time to officially bring the news out, that we are expecting. Heather is almost 11 weeks into her pregnancy, so we are just starting out this journey. Last Friday 6/25, we were able to hear the heartbeat, which was an experience that cannot be explained through words. As if passing his boards was not enough....Today, Matt was just offered a job in Minnetonka, at the Hennepin County Home School (Take note, that this offer is from the one and only interview he has been to so far) He has accepted the position, and will be a Juvenile Corrections Officer. He will be working with juveniles (ages 12 -20), who have been court ordered to this residential treatment

A fun night out with Kel and Shane last night. Met for dinner at the 508 Club in Minneapolis, then made our way to the Mat Kearney Concert, at 1st Ave. Mat was especially fun to see LIVE, because we were able to hear Shane & Kels engagement song, along with Matt & I's wedding song (that Shane also played the drums too). To end the night, we did a short walk to the Saloon, to see Ryan C. at work.

Uncle Matty and Auntie Heather bought tickets to take the boys (Ky & El= nephews) to see Thomas the Train. It was such a fun day.
